Safety Solutions
Why is safety important?
Safety in the warehouse or in the production environment is the highest priority in internal logistics. With ever-increasing requirements for material handling, it is crucial to have reliable measures in place to protect drivers and employees, as well as the goods being transported, shelves and other equipment. Industrial vehicles must work faster, more flexibly and efficiently to meet these increasing demands. These challenges increase the risk of accidents.
Research from the Statistics Office of the EU shows how important the topic of occupational safety is: According to an analysis of occupational accidents in the EU, almost 18 percent of all serious accidents are caused by transport and storage; more than in industry, where the figure is around 14 per cent (EUROSTAT 2017). A recent case study from Germany took a closer look at security in the warehouse (DGUV 2021). According to this study, there are on average over 133 forklift-related accidents per working day in German warehouses, including 60 accidents with forklifts and 13 with hand pallet trucks.
Safe logistic prosesses gives:

- Industrial vehicles that are ready for use without unexpected downtime, which can create real headaches.
- Undamaged goods that arrive at their destination on time, instead of being left somewhere along the way.
- An increase in the brand's reputation in the public, among investors, customers and your own employees by showing that you attach great importance to safety.
- Reduced costs, because work-related accidents leading to downtime cost an average of EUR 1,000 per day – and this is money you can save!
